    Printing problem (MP C4000)

Word and Excel documents not printing.
    Oracle based documents are printing.

All users have the same problem.
    Any idea?

The users are using Windows 7 Professional. Even print test page is not printing but I can see the Web image monitor of the machine. Restarts the computer but still not printing.Only documents using Oracle application are printed.

Kinda weird I had a similar problem like this last week. When I opened the print queue, it showed offline at the top of the box. I could send a test print via telnet ok and no errors were apparent when I opened the WIM - except it said 'miscellaneous printer error, lcit no paper' (the priority tray was tray 1 so I ignored it). I opened the printer properties of the driver and went to the 'configure port settings' under the port tab. I unchecked SNMP, changed the protocol to LPR and made the queue name 'lp'. Voila, it worked - turned out the LCIT was overfilled and not fully latched to the copier (only the front interlock was touching the machine, not the rear). Once I removed the excess paper and reseated the tray I set the port settings back. Boom, everything worked. Turned out that paper tray empty message was causing the offline error through SNMP. Oracle is host printing, not using the driver.
