[Misc] Fax communication result report - on demand ??

I have a customer with an MP3351. They use it primarily as a printer, and fax. They send probably up to 100 faxes /day of several pages.
They do not want a confirmation printed for every fax fax, but they have certain locations that repeatedly say they 'didn't get the fax' (or whatever), so they've asked me if there's a simply way to print a confirmation of "the last fax sent" after a transmission for their records.
Is that possible? Seems like it should be, but damned if I can find it.

I know that the confirmations can all be forwarded to email, although I've never done that, and it's not configured for scanning, at this point, and they have no interest in that capability yet, for some reason. So frankly, I just don't think I want to open up that 'can of worms'....yet.
I've shown them how to view older transactions Via the WIM, and how to print a journal, but neither of those make them Happy, happy, happy

Any input is GREATLY appreciated.

If you jump into fax settings in user tools you can set up a custom user button that says something like 'transmission result report' - but it needs to be selected before the fax is sent so it may not be what you want.

There is always 'Change TX/Info' and then 'Transmission file status' which will give you a yay or a nay as to the last fax. You can also just print the journal but you wont get the specific codes.

Selecting it "Before" a transaction is just fine.
So it's the "Quick operation keys" that you can program, that show up at the bottom of the screen? (shown below). Pressing it prior to a fax will produce a communication result report?
I thought it would be possible, but man,that's embarrassing if that's the case !

Um, I've never used this, but you might want to look into "Dedicated Transmission Parameter" programming? (System switch 00, bit 0 in fax service mode bit switches) If I remember correctly, if is changed from "0" to "1" you can set fax user parameters for individual entries in the address book.
But like I said, I've never used the dedicated parameters before, and while I've never run into this problem exactly, I've educated people on the "On Hook Dial" function when I've had anything similar to this with great success. So take everything here with a grain of salt.

Thanks Iowa, but they send so many large faxes that there is almost always a fax or 2 in the cue waiting to be sent, so the immediate Tx really isn't an option, and i don't know how excited i am about learning how to mess with dedicated parameters, but i always appreciate the input

Setting a "Quick operation key" in fax features to "Tx status report" got me exactly the result I was looking for. So simple, but I've just never dealt with those before. Thanks Sarge!
