Download the newest driver and unzip it. Before installing it, use the Ricoh Print Driver Editor and modify the driver. Ricoh no longer makes the PDE available on their driver page but you can search the internet. Just google "Ricoh print driver editor".
Hello everyone,
going to throw my relevant question into the mix.
I have a customer who wants to have the usercode pop up on feature across all their PC's. They have a mixture of windows XP and windows 7
I have developed the custom driver for windows XP, tried and tested perfectly.
I then did the same procedure for our windows 7 PC and the popup box does not appear at all after print is sent.
I cant approach the customer with their amazing custom drivers that only happen to work on half their PC's
to clarify, It works on XP but not on 7
Details:
I have only tested with word 2007, will test with another program when the windows 7 PC is free.
I have only changed the default from colour to b/w and clicked the tick box for user-code pop up.
I have done the procedure with both the outdated 'print driver editor tool' and the over complicated but supported 'printer driver packager NX'
The machine is an MP C3001 and the driver is PCL 6.
