    Ricoh MP C3502 C4502 - fusing problem

Problem: the lower half of the sheet size A3 and A4R against the guide strip and dirty sheet before going through the fuser.

You can remove the guide plate and the problem is solved, however, can paper jam especially in duplex.

You will find that the sleeve on the hot roller isn't rotating at the correct speed causing the paper to buckle as it arrives at the fuser so wiping the unfused toner off on the entrance guide. This is caused by the lubricating grease inside the sleeve drying out. Sorry, but the only fix is to replace the fuser.

      Thx.
It mean replace the fusing unit or only the hot roller.

Due to the price of the hot roller assembly and the time taken to change it we found it was cheaper to replace the entire fuser.
