Need P/N for Ricoh MP C2551 "Drum Motor:CMY"

I don't have a parts blow up of this model.
I have figured out that this motor is squealing pretty loudly...lol.

So I would like to find the P/N and a source for the part.
I took a pic of the motor and a label stuck on the flywheel of the motor is AX060000.

Not sure if that's just the motor p/n or the PCB and the motor.
Oh yeah, I guess I need to quote a price to the customer too.

Anything you can help with is appreciated.

    Thanks to all,

    Jeff D.

AX06 0000 is the part number for the drum drive motor but are you sure its that that's making the noise? In my experience its usually one of the PCU's that's causing the problem.

Our RRP inc tax for that motor is $104.08 but that's in Oz dollars.

        Sure sounded like motor noise...

That box has two AX06 0000 motors, one for K and one for CMY, try swapping them around.

The motors should have the part number printed on them.

Here's a quick check that I've found useful:
If I find a squeak like that (at least if I understand this correctly), I pull the front cover off the PCDU and look for brown dust in the upper right hand side of that area. If I see that, the drum portion of that PCDU needs to be replaced. (The dust is from wear of the bushings molded into the plastic frame, so avoid using any old parts if possible.)

                I'll check that.
Going back in a day or 2.

Wonder where to purchase that motor in the USA.

I would say 99% that replacing the motor wont fix the squealing. This model is well known for high pitch squealing and it always comes down to worn dev/drum assys or ITB assy. The fusers are also noisy but in a more groaning type of noise. I have had brand new assys make noise.
I am going to recommend you pass on this call. If the customer is picky about noises then you are in for a world of pain here.

Most squeling noises are because of poor drum cleaning blade lubrication - I think there's also modified cleaning blade pressure springs available to avoid this issue, kinda recall a RTB about this.

Well, if you must purchase the motor and nobody can come up with a better idea, you might try something like I did back in the day. Call a local manufacturer approved shop and ask if you can purchase the part from them (provide the part number).
Of course, I am not an independent tech and the last time I did that was back in the analog days, so maybe not.

What a coincidence. The senior tech had this really horrible high pitch squeal today on exactly the same motor and same model machine.

Unfortunately, all he did to fix it was remove it, give it a tap or two then refit it.

So not much help to you really. sorry

LOL... Now that's why their called a senior tech.
Wish more of my calls involved "a tap or 2".
At least I'd feel I had gotten my aggression out for the day.

I had one a couple months ago that had an intermittent high pitched squeal when copying or printing color only and the noise was coming form the yellow development unit. A little oil on the bushings fixed it and I have not been back since.
