MP 7502SP Duplex jamming J023 only in A3 paper

Hello, I have a new MP 7502SP newly installed only 4k copies made customer ask service, when they using duplex on A3 paper contineously after 7 or 8 copies jam at duplex unit (J023), pull-out duplex unit and testing on other machine it works fine. anyone has encountered this issue? thanks in advance.

So you took the duplexer away and used a different paper supply to test it?
It's pretty humid in Manila right now, isn't it?
I'm leaning towards damp paper, and would start there.

Have you checked the side fences on the paper tray that the paper is feeding from. I have had jams in the duplex unit when the paper is not centered in the tray. The lead edge of the paper can hit one of the jogger fences in the duplex unit.

sandmanmac and slimslob both have good advise to follow! off the top I think that 023 jam is a lead jam, meaning paper did not get to the sensor on time. Are your tray paper settings correct? as to size and weight of paper??? These boxes are rock solid machines. I put one out 4 months ago and have had 2 service calls in 350K+ clicks......

i meet that last week in mp 9000 as sandmanmac said it's paper humidity .or paper is bad some kinds of paper like ik (apple sign) it's bad paper.

I've been getting a bunch of Jam 23's on the 9002. Same duplex unit as the 7502.

What we're doing to fix it is add a wrap to the duplex actuator spring (#14 AW020148) and slightly lift up on the sensor bracket. If you bend the bracket too far you start getting jam 16's.

In the past it's usually been a bad wire in the harness to the entrance sensor (#25 AW010119) where it wraps around the entrance guide pivot pin in the rear.
