      Hi

The customer is running Windows 7 64bit. Desktopbinder does not support 64bit so i setup windows xp mode (virtual windows xp) to run the desktopbinder in.

      Hope this helps

Because your platform is under 64bit. So if you install a virtual 32bit Window XP under 64bit Window 7.

It still won't work because your Kernel and Driver still under 64bit.

You need to install a 32bit OS.

          Hi

I have 3 other pcs i have setup that works just fine. Its just the one pc.

Something else i see is when i go to network places and click on view workgroup computers i get some kind of do not have permission error or something. Can not remember exactly. Do not know if maybe something is preventing the machines to communicate with the virtual machine

I don't think is the user policy issue. It might be the Services in the Administration Tools see whether got any related service been OFF.

Check the VM and see if it's getting a private IP, or if it's pulling an IP in the same public range as the host machine and the MFP. It sounds like it's set for a private network with the host OS.
