Ricoh pro 651ex

Hello All,

We have ricoh pro 651ex which is giving all different types of errors, first it wont print black, colors are fine. Another, giving all different error codes like sc440,sc400,sc436 there were few more.

Can anyone please help us on that?

I think you have problem with developer ,how many copy or counter have developer black?
If consumables 80 % definitely you must change developer and clean details development unit with air compresor.
You will notice if the developer has a grounding toner ,this is reason for sc code.
But first check the developer.

It would be helpful if you could provide an accurate list of the error codes given. Also for the SC400, check SP 3012 for a Process Control Error code.

I checked developer is empty toner is not going in, and it's giving error 446-12

Developer unit is empty maybe because toner pump not rotate,maybe toner is grounding ( I have this problem with RICOH PRO C 901) open the toner pump and toner suppy unit (this you can find back side of the machine) clean toner pump with vacuum machine do not open because you can demage, clean and spill all toner of the toner supply unit , toner supply to be without toner (empty) and when you turn on machine in toner supply unit toner come a lone.

For the other sc code (446-12 Transfer Belt Drive Motor) check the transfer belt unit,maybe you have problem with transfer belt ,you must check this .

I can't print it's giving error right away sc400.

Definitely need to be replaced developer .I have this problem with RICOH PRO C 901.Developer never achieved full lifetime.
Change, but clear the development unit with air compresor.

I can't print it's giving error right away sc400.

Thanks everyone for your help, it was black dev. We open it, clean it put it back and now it's works like a new m/c.
