A350 NIB

Hi guys,
I have a problem with upgrade firmware for NIB 4.03F (A8555001H) for
Aficio A350/A450 , A550 etc. printer controller.
Firmware is upd file. Printer controller doesn"t recognize upd file from
upgrade RICOH PCIMCI card (orig. card and orig. softwer)
can anybody help me ?

Thats a strange one, I have seen upd files in unix but not sure how to apply it to this nic. Hope someone comes up with the answer, I will check around it may be a command line update.

I belive this is done by FTP.
Never had need to do it myself.

Yeah, experience is a power. I found on CD from april 03 MB about upd. file, but for
this I need FTP Downloader. While I looking for FTP downloader on net (yes I know they are on TESSA), I found a NIB 4.03H version in bin. file, and I solve the problem with upd. file.

those old NIB's were very tempremental. Depends on which chip set you have. Also there's a trick to set the speed. When you web into the nib, use the ipaddress/speed to access the nib speed page. you won't get this through the normal web page.
