aficio 3045 / mp4500 hd

hi to all,

if i replace the hard drive of ricoh aficio 3045 or mp4500 with 500gb hard drive, will it increase the space of the document server where documents can be saved? if not, is there any way i can increase the space capacity of the document server so that users can save more documents?

No.

Ricoh allocates a specific amounts of the HDD to the various operations that use the HDD for storage. It also only requires a fixed number of files for each operation. For the document server it is 7900MB and 3000 files. Check the Detailed Description section of the service manual.
