this one has the data light lit and i can't get into service mode. i removed the nic and sd cards to clean and reseat no luck. the scan works but it seems that the print is locked up and there is nothing in que. the copier mode works fine. ideas appreciated thanks

Restart the machine with the network cable unplugged, and check the latest SC code. If it is SC899 you may have a corrupt print job on the PC still sending through. Delete the job on the PC first then plug the machine back in, and make sure the firmware is up to date. -

Agree with all. Generally, printing certain web pages can generate this error. As stated, remove it from the network and have the customer clear the print queue. There is some recent firmware to address this error code so make sure it is updated.Comment

SC899 does not exist on this model
