Lanier on cover of machine, but up at the top black cover it reads AficioMPC 305SPF. This machine was a mess. There was toner everywhere. The problems I’m having with this machine is that the lift motor will not raise the paper, and it is giving me an SC-101 code. Lamp will flash on and off, but I’m not sure if it is supposed to come back on or not. When the screen comes up it gives me the code. What would cause this code? Has a broken ADF glass. Machine was shipped to me from out of state for a customer.

This copier has Lanier on the cover of the machine, but on a black cover above that it reads AficioMPC-305SPF. My question on this is whether or not that is the full name of this copier, or if it is something else? Anyway, this machine was a mess when it arrived. It was shipped to me from out of state for a customer, and there was toner everywhere. After cleaning it up, the best I code, I tried it out. It has a few problems with it. The first is an SC-101 code. I noticed that the lamp will flash on and off. When the display screen finally comes up it give me the SC-101 code. What would be the cause of this code? Also, it has a broken ADF glass. Not sure if that would cause any issue with this. Thank you for any help given.

Well you got a turd shipped in!!! the broken ADF glass is most likely the sc 101, as the white plate is gone or the lamp is broken?? #2 toner all over when it arrived = improperly prepared for shipping !!! Known to have issues with the cassette closing dampener, usually a customer brakes this by slamming the drawer closed.Bill the shipper(aka customer) for ALL REPAIRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW It's just a Ricoh MP c305.................

Ricoh, Savin, Lanier are just branding labels for the front of the machine. Other than the brand label, they are all the same MP C305.
