    Fax issues

Seems like fax line issues are on the rise...digital to analog adapters are the behind this in my opinion. Especial when faxing to and from certain hospitals. Of course no one is willing to admit its there fault. Other than calling the phone line provider and asking them to check the line which I'm sure they don't do. Is there anything else on that end you can do? I've changed the settings on several faxes Speed and comparability ect. but nothing on the machine seems to help..

    Thanks

I've noticed JBIG compression can cause some receiving problems for older faxes.
It's one of those settings you would turn off for better compatibility between machines.
