sc 753 code when trying to sort

i have a mp5500 wth a sr970 sorter i took a quick look at and need to return to.
the stack sponge roller is not spinning and i never saw this before.
goose guides also mentions the return roller motor.
    anyone have this problem before?
    thnx

Check that the sponge roller hasn't been caught under the belt....had this a week ago.

just wanted to make sure, you are talking the foam exit stacking tires not the foam stacking tire for the staple tray

WELL I found out what my problem was after removing the 2nd tray and big panel on the left side of sorter.
thetwo foam rollers that sit outside above the 2nd tray were not coming out on power on or in service mode.
            i head a slight sound.
after pulling out the cover i found a staple at the sensor that reads the cam.
and then i found a staple on the motor shaft binding the small belt,
still too tight, next i remove a rubber band from the plastic black cam that the sensor reads.
the trifecta....of course the law firm insist on keeping their stapler on the sorter and cant figure how
            these items got inside...
could be worse things to find...like when i found a dead mouse that chewed thru some 115 wiring.........

I had a dead mouse in drive belt of a paper bank on a 1027 once.
I had a jamming problem with a finisher that turned out to be a candy wrapper in the exit sensor.
