MPC2550 takes minutes to make a copy

We inherited service on this one. Place originals in the DF. It pulls in one or two then idles for up to one minute before copying process (paper feed) starts. Looking for confirmation that it is most likely the HDD.

Sounds like it to me, but why haven't you simply disconnected the HDD to find out?

Spent too much time there this AM already w/ other problems. Prefer to tackle another day.
