I have a Lanier MPC3001 when I scan a original on the glass I get good quality scans, when I scan through the ADF I get distorted images please see photos as a example. Any help is much appreciated.

loose screws in the hinges of DF. My guess as you close the DF the back lifts slightly and too much light gets through. Perhaps its too close to the window and the same issue with the light. Check the original pressure plate above slit glass. Also check the slit glass may be slightly out of psn. -

Follow the Grey Balance settings and adjustments as per the Birth certificate for SP 4685/SP 4686 / SP 4687.
If the machine has recently had an Engine clear it wipes these settings and they need to be re input from the Birth CertificateComment
