    Mpc300 colours out of alignment

The colour registration is well out and all over the place.
However the black seems to be in the original position but the c m y colours are randomly out.
I did the forced line position adjustment in section 2 for mode c and a. Both fail every time.
Checked the result in 2194 and cyan, magenta and yellow are reading 2
ive changed the transfer belt and cleaning unit and the black drum unit with no effect.
I also re seated the laser unit.
    Firmware is upto date.
    id sensor is clean

    black has done 54437
    colour- 29083

the colour densities are very good (not faint)

any my help would be appreciated
    thanks

Black will always be correct as that is what the colors are aligned to. You might try another itb unit if available, but generally it's an issue with color density. Try toning up a bit and use the birth certificate to reenter the factory settings that affect alignment, then try recal again.

You could try to reset the process control data to default :

        Copy SP : SP5-610
        Printer SP : SP1-101-001

Then do a forced process control and do line positioning c and 2x a. This only works when the transfer belt, dv-units/pcu's are in good condition.

One question. Has someone done a clear all memory? This can throw the color alignment off to the point that force line position cannot get it back. Manual adjustment procedures are needed to first get it close.

This is what I would do.

              For your information :

The machine decides if the density is correct. It may look good to you, but the machine may have other thoughts...

No one has done a memory clear. This just happened out of the blue

                  Fixed!!!

I set the colour registration settings in section 1 to default, not factory setting because the factory sheet was missing. Anyway i then ran forced line adjustment made c and then a and successfully completed for the first time.

                  Thanks everyone
