"Warm up" is just the terminology the poster used.
I'm sure he's just saying it takes a long time to come to ready, so Eric is right - in both of his replies

This is not the place to ask for workarounds to problems caused by inferior / Generic parts and supplies. You're only masking the problem and creating more difficult problems down the road.
You're asking how to compensate for poor fusing with a "crappy" brand of toner? Here's how: Use OEM. Otherwise, (and it's only a matter of time) the customer will be rebuilding that fuser before it's time, toner pumps will fail, and so will the dev (if it hasn't already), and that's juts to name a few.
Thanks guys it was the hdd. Only thing is dev needs swapping in all units because non eom toners has knackered them up I presume. Can I use new dev in the old units or do I have to swap the full units ?
The new DV-Units contain fresh developer/toner, so I suggest to replace all dv-units with new ones. You can also remove all toner/developer from the old ones and pour in a fresh bag of developer, which is more work. Replacing the DV-Units is easier. But there could still be some generic toner left in the tubes, but it it isn't much. Replace the generic toners with OEM ones.
