    MP201 Scan to folder Error

    Hi Guys

I have a MP201 that is setup for scan to folder. It will work fine for a day or three and then it will give and error. The customer reset the machine and then it will work fine again. The machine has the latest firmware on. The PC is using Windows 7 64bit. Scanning is setup to a static IP. I have also replaced the switch.

    Any Ideas??

Does this mean that the MP201 has a static IP or that your are using the PC IP address instead of name? If you are having trouble setting up scanning using machines names, check the following:
        1. If PC is part of a domain, make certain that the domain name set in the MP201 is correct
        2. If PC is part of a workgroup, make certain that the SMB workgroup name set in the MP201 is correct
        3. The first DNS server needs to be a local DNS, usually either the domain server or the gateway/DHCP
