    Ricoh Mp161 keeps prining Device capabilities page

    can some one explain this copier had been working just find then starting printing the device capabilities and device status page. I was able to get it to stop for a while and then started again.Is it a connection between network unit and main board causing problem.

    thanks for any help with this problem

    This might be stupid, but it sounds a little like there might be a paper jam involved with this - the machine will always continue to print out what it was working in after a jam is cleared. Unless you tell it not to.
    Any jam codes you can share?
    Also, you said this is a printing problem. Does the machine stop doing this after you've disconnected the print cable and rebooted the machine?

      If this is an SP model, remove it from the network and do a memory clear on the printer application. If it still happens after plugging back into the network then there is a corrupt print job in the queue.

      If it isn't the SP model, then I have no idea.

        thanks for info . copier is Mp161 spf we print usb and network. I tried this unplugged printer cables and turn off and back on was OK. then plug usb cable in waited was OK. Then network cable started doing same thing. So I determine coming from a computer and started turning off each one small office only had 5 and finally stop. So far everything is working so it must had been something stuck in a Que like the last person posted. Thanks for everyone's help.
