Ok, the drivers are setup correctly and all the feed guides etc. are in the correct position.
There is no reason that a paper-size mismatch should occur.
What seems to happen is that when printing from office 2003/2007 the first page is printed and immediately after that, the error message pops up saying paper size mismatch.
The customer is using PCL 5c and I have suggested they try loading PCL 6 for testing purposes. (they have not done so yet)
For now as a work around (as suggested by ricoh) we have set autotrayselect to off and changed Printer SP1001-005 bit switch 1 thus disabling notifications for papersize mismatch.
With this workaround the copier has not replicated the fault at all.
Has anyone encountered this peculiar fault before?
Any suggestions on a permanent fix?
