MPC4500 SC990

Hi All
I have an mpc4500 that throws up sc990 at start up
ive updated the firmware replaced the HDD's and even replaced the controller
but still get sc990
iam going back with new memory and nvram to try
any advise would be much apretiated

Check the PM counts on all the drum units and development units. Black and whites used to throw SC990 when they were too far past a PM.

What kind of shape is the rest of the machine in? Drums transfer ect. Are there any other codes logged ??

The machine is in average condition the customer bought it second hand over a year ago
it was not supplied by myself i just got a callout to repair it
drum units are near end of life fuser and transfer past life
customer said machine was working one day then next morning switched on and got sc990 machine hasnt worked since
only errors in log are 5 x sc990
going back on monday will let you know if i get any further
going to take a psu just incase

Do the machine have any type of Java VM or Browser options? make sure you update it to the latest version. I ran into this issue multiple with the new machines.

thanks for all the help
was a bit of a strange one removed the print scan sd card and got the sc990 to clear
but machine showed door open constantly
turned out to be the psu replaced it and the machine all working
then found out from customer they had had a power cut to the building
and when they got the power back thats when the machine was faulty
