[Misc] MPC5503- can't get external usb to work with ecopy embedded

Has anyone any info on getting this to work.

The keyboard is recognised by the mfd and can be used for inputting but when using sharescan it does not work. Within sharescan administrator I have tried selecting the hard keyboard but with no effect.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
