    Aficio 240w

    Hi all...

... the machine is dumping developer from left side of developer unit, right on feed clutch and cutter. Already cleaned and checked developer unit, everything seems normal. Developer is relatively new (3000 ft). Any ideas...?

Just from the pics, the machine is not level or there is something inside your dev unit casing the problem.(Sliver of paper, broken auger, etc)

Developer unit has a mylar strip (recovery blade) on the front of the cleaning assembly. Check for any damage here or on the waste auger.

I think inner side of Dev unit has a sponge seal . may be it is damaged or unbalance the machine

I agree with the machine not being level. Use a good torpedo level to level it out. I've seen this a lot on concrete floors in building just thrown together. It's amazing how bad some of these floors are.
