[Electrical] MP C8002 PAPER JAM AT D2

Good morning all,

kindly assist as i installed this machine with first a wrong finisher but re[placed and worked,the problem i had was i could not set up the machine with the web browser as i get a 404 error and suddenly the jam appeared and seems not to go away,please assist with ideas will be much appreciated,

Did you update the firmware during the installation first?

We have had consistant issues with these devices showing the same issue during installation or firmware updating.

You will find the fuser enterance optical sensor which reads the paper in this section has to have a value installed on it.

I think the SP code is 4-020-001, please set this value from anything between 200 and 400....

i had not upgraded the firmware was going to do at the customers site even before the said happened,

i'm going to check the same and update the findings

The correct SP mode as suggested above is:

execute SP1-134-001 then check that SP1-134-002 is between 200 and 400. I manually adjusted it to 250 and then rebooted device to clear the Jam message.
