Ricoh Aficio 2000L not print with Windows 7 64 bit

Hello, I am new to the forum ... congratulations is really very interesting and well done.

Sorry for my bad English ... I see a question to be resolved on a Ricoh Aficio 2000L.

With Win Xp has always worked well.

Now I switched to Win 7 Home 64-bit and I can no longer print.

I downloaded and installed the drivers from the website Ricoh DDST but does not work. Is detected, but when I launch a print icon is a yellow triangle with the exclamation point.

    Is connected USB.

    Could someone help me please?

    Tnk

what does the icon tell you? the yellow symbol is an error symbol and should have a reason with it.

Are you sure you downloaded the 64bit drivers? as the 32bit doesn't install on the wrong system.

      Hello Targetinformatica

Sorry for my English, but I use google translation

For L versions (light) to the port 10001 and not 9100.

      good luck

        Ciao targetinformatica,
is the machine connected with usb or network?if it's connected with usb port the number of tcp/ip port doesn't mind.

If you are using usb port be careful what ddst driver did you install: on the ricoh site you find 2 types of DDST driver one for a GDI controller and one for a PCL ( 5e or 6). Check the controller type of your machine and install the correct DDST driver.

Thanks for the replies guys ... you are great!

The drivers are the right ones for windows 7 64 bit (DDST Printer Driver) and I've downloaded from here:

Download per i prodotti da ufficio Lanier | Ricoh

The printer is connected with USB

I tried installing the ricoh on a 32-bit computer (with the driver 32-bit of course) and like magic print!

The problem, therefore, is on the 64-bit.

For looping56: Parameter 1001 I've provided is in the TCP / IP ... you need to change it even if the printer is connected to USB?

          Thank you guys!

Delete all drivers on the windows 7 64 bit pc. With the usb disconnected install the driver and dont let windows automatically detect things for you. After the driver is installed plug the usb cable in and see if it now works. If it doesnt go to the printer properties and then the ports tab and then try selecting a different USB port as it all depends where you have plugged it into on your pc. If all fails just jump up and down on one foot and shout out Baaaaaaster!

Ahahahahah I thought I was doing the rain dance!

Joking aside, I've tried what you suggested but unfortunately it does not work.

I even removed the drivers manually! With win 7 64 bit will not work!

If you double click the Print queue what is the status? If it says offline click on file and look for a setting "use printer offline" and make sure it is un checked. If the status is ready, go to the printer properties and then the port tab. Uncheck enable bi directional support. Make sure you have the correct usb port selected. In the port list. how many usb ports are listed? You should see usb001, under that usb002 and so on. Toggle between these and then click apply and then flip to first tab and do a windows test print.

If you print a config page what languages are listed. Can you see pcl5 and pclXL.

                  Hello Captain Scott
                  bidirectional tried
Printer Status: On-line until it launches a print driver has been installed, despite the warning that there is a mistake of signing.

A curious thing: the ricoh website all the 64-bit drivers are the same (win xp, vista, win 7 and win 8 ... all the same). It occurs to me that Ricoh has not issued the correct drivers or that you are wrong.

I tried it on USB001 and usb002 but does not print.

Maybe it would take a big hammer to make it work :-)

Actually, the 64-bit driver would be the same for all of the different Windows versions. The only difference on install is a different .dll file specific for that operating system version. Does the USB try to do a plug and play install? Are you installing using an account with administrator permissions?

Yes, USB is detected in plug and play.

I install with a user with elevated privileges. The UAC is active (it would be to turn them off?)

In reference to baratec's post, if you had downloaded the "DDST Printer Driver" try either the "PCL 6 driver for DDST" or "PCL 5 driver for DDST". If you originally downloaded one of the PCL drivers, try the "DDST Printer Driver". If none of them work, there might be a problem with your USB printing support driver.
