    Aficio 9005 firmware stalled

I was updating firmware on a aficio 9005 and the power went out. When the power came back the copier has a blank monitor.
Any dip switch to set so that it boots from the SDcard. I would like to see if I could figure it out before monday, I can only gain help on monday by my tech support. Thanks.

This one is for you fridgemagnet, hehehe

    found this is it true

In cases where the flash ROM boot program has been damaged or corrupted, the SD card can be used to boot up the machine and download its firmware with boot program. This will only be effective when the problem is not hardware-related.

Only SD cards that have been specially formatted for machine booting can be used for this purpose.

Why am I here at this time of night?
Have you tried RTB 46a? Recovery from LCDC update.
You can also try putting the card with firmware on it and switching on sw1
            on controller.
If this does not work then the boot sd card is the option to go with.
            Or a new controller :-)

Sorry I could'nt help Paul. Me and Johnny were cooking steaks on the BBQ last night. Then when I went inside, the RAID board in my core2duo was beeping like crazy. Turned out to be a bad connection on one of the SATA drives. OK now. Then I knocked the mouse off the desk and it stopped working, and somehow that affected the KVM it was attached to and it started making the monitor flash.
Then wife v3.o says "will you get outta there, you're gonna screw something up"
              "too late" says I.
So I'm working (ha) today but I'll get the rest sorted out tonight.

Fridge, that is a great avatar.
