    We have a chance to pick-up M/A's on Ricoh 2550SP, C4501, 161SPf. how are these?

    We have a opertunity to pick up service on some Ricohs after our client bought out another company. The Ricoh's in question are
    2550 sp CC 400K
    C4501SP CC COLOR 252K / B/W 17K
    161SPF CC=?
    MP5500 CC 1,429K
    MP4000 CC 297K
    MP171 CC33K
    WHATS THE GOOD AND BAD NEWS ABOUT THESE? We are Mita / Samsung as our pirmary copy systems.

    That all depends on how well they have been maintained in the past. You will need to gets manuals for all of those models. Go out to the site and do a service inventory on all of them. You need more than just copy counts, you need SMC reports and for those that have a separate pm counter section in service mode, you will need those reports. The copy counts look alright. The C4501 looks like the color to b/w ration is quite high. For that machine they might be better off with a production color machine. Except for the 161 and 171, counts appear to be getting close or just after a PM service. If they are close, you might want to have the customer pay part of the cost for the first PM.
