    aficio 3045

    hi all,

jam C, j001 paper misfeed won't clear. i already checked inverter (paper separation unit 2) including sensors passing from the trays up to the inverter but there is no paper even a small one. i also replaced the inverter but problem is the same. it looks like after closing the side and front doors it doesn't recover from the jam (open door indication clears). it does indicate "Door Open" when i open the side and front doors meaning door switches are good. machine has no lct, bridge unit or finisher.

    please help. thank you.
    best regards

J001 would be a jam found at power on. Jam C would be the fusing exit/paper exit area. Most likely a bad fusing exit sensor, a bad exit sensor, or scrap of paper on the exit sensor. Check the copy jam history SP 7507-1. That will tell you where the actual jam was originally located.

J014 and J016 both have to do with the fusing exit sensor. Clean any paper lint that is on top of the fusing unit. Replace the fusing exit sensor. It is mounted in the black guide that is mounted on the right side door above the fusing unit. With age the sensor over heats and fails.
