    MPC 6003 spdf Jamming 3080)

    Hi guys,

I have an issue on this machine whereas when documents are fed through the feeder it crumples the pages just before it leaves the df. This happens about 1 in every 100 sheets)

All firmware is up to date, and the jam codes are: 63 and 66.

I have seen a bulletin where it instructs to remove the ribs on the upper guide which has been done.

    Any ideas??

I think this only applies to the non single pass feeder.

If u check the guide before the white roller there should be two little mylar if these fall off u get this problem. I've had it on two machines. Check these they sit on the end of the plate top and bottom and the usual fall off..

Thanks Garyyaling. That was right on the money. It looks like this df never had them on in the first place. The Ricoh rep had just noticed this. Luckily we had another identical df in the same building to compare it to.

          Thanks.
