Ricoh MP C2800/3300/3001/3501 Scan to Folder SBS 2011

    Hi all

Is scan to folder achievable on a Ricoh MP C2800/3300/3001/3501 series machine where the folder is on a SBS 2011 server?

Yes. You may have to update the Network Support firmware if it is not at the required version or later. MP C2800/3300 requires version 8.33. MP C3001/3501 requires version 10.63.

slimslob is right in terms of firmware. If it helps for future reference, Small Business Server 2011 is just a modified version of Server 2008 R2.

        Thanks!

Does this mean they would need to use SBS 2008 drivers too?

        I only have NIB version 8.30 . . . . .

Any chance of the latest NIB firmware?

        Many thanks

The drivers for Server 2008 will work without issues: in fact the drivers for XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, and Server 2008 are exactly the same: the only difference is a .dll file for the individual OS to install, but if the printer is shared, the corresponding files for the other platforms will be available.

Sorry, I don't have the firmware and I don't know of a good source for you anymore.
