    GRIFFIN/MPC 305 Quality-issue out of box!

    Hi there!
Very nice! Unpacking & programming a GRIFFIN, then ACC. Copy=OK, print 600x600=OK,all others FAILED. Testpattern #13 looks like this:
Built in a new PCDU,BK all OK.

Do a memory clear on Printer Application, then check the memory modules.

Also, throw this machine away and get a C300 / 400 instead. Save yourself a lot of money and problems.

So glad to hear we are not alone in having headaches with this and the MP301 as well. What a POS! Both of them!

I read somewhere that there is an MPC401 on the way! Holding thumbs that they did not "fix" the things that worked on the MPC400 and turned it into another POS as well....

Will have to wait and see.

We've had an MPC401 in the demo room for about 2-3 months now.

Don't see anything weird, but a demo room is way different than a customer office.

I've run Equitrac, Streamline, and RightFax on it, and it never barked at anything.

          Time will tell...
