Hi all. Does anyone know if the gears from the developer unit of the 2238c matches the one from the 3245c? I'm interested only if the gear on the mag roller is the same. Mine is broken and i can't find it anywhere.

The development units for both models do not have individual replaceable parts. The two are different and I know it has to do with the gears at the back. Exactly what the difference is, I do not know but think it has to do with the drive input gear. You may have to replace the entire development unit. The drum units can be interchanged by changing the front cover. -
Im sure they are helical gears at the back of the jc2 dev unit and non helical on the jc1.Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential
