MP 201 Display says "HDD functional problems."

Machine has an optional keyboard mounted under regular keyboard and the hard drive has been removed and is missing. I am asumming this has something to do with message in the display. Is there a sp mode to turn off this option and then just remove the optional keyboard? Never run into this before. Any input would be great.

The HDD is optional (product D577). If it has been removed you might also need to remove the Security SD card that came with it, and possibly disable the SP modes from the service manual.

Also, optional keyboard? What are you on about?

I don't know what you mean, the touch screens never went wrong.
