Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

Hi, if you printing via parallel port theres no web image monitor, if RJ45 printing, try to see if the machine has the settings turned off, SP 5-828 web: ON/OFF

If it worked before, and if you printing via IP, try connecting it to your computer with a cross cable (RJ45) or try looking for something on the firewall for example.

Cheers imind, its sorted now, although at the time the customer called they said that the machine also could not be printed to, they have a complicated network with different subnets and it seemed it got an ip from a different server (dhcp), odd one but sorted now, thanks for the reply imind.

fine for now, you could talk to IT staff an ask them to reserve an IP to your machines mac address and your problem will be resolved.
