    [Jamming] MPC4503

What can I do when the paper comes curl out of the exit sections. (also in the fusing-/finisher)
normally the paper is 40% RH (75 gram's,) is there any solution or adjustment for the heater (hot roller) tempature (increase or decrease)
because the curl in the paper as olso effefcted that jams in the fuser unit and sometimes (dog's) in the finischer becomes.

There are a number of steps involved in correcting paper curl:
    1. Always use high quality paper. The lower the price you pay for paper, the greater the amount of curl it will have.
    2. Store your paper where it will not be exposed to excessive amounts of moisture. The greater the amount of moisture in the paper, the more it will curl coming out of the fusing unit. The wrapper does provide some moisture protection as long as it is not opened. Do not open the wrapper until you are ready to put the paper in the machine.
    3. All paper has a tendency to curl more in one way than the other the first time through the fusing unit. If the paper reams are not marked as to which to print first, you will have to determine the print first side. Generally speaking, all reams from the same manufacturer will have the same direction of curl set. Using the seam of the wrapper of the ream as a reference, determine if you get less curl with the seam side up or seam side down.
    4. Tray heaters can be installed to help keep the paper dry once it is in the machine. This is especially helpful if the curling is worse in the morning after the paper has set in the machine overnight.

    Hope this will be helpful.

      Hi

      have you tried this setting:

      1113 [Curl Correction]
      001
      Execute Pattern *ENG
      [0 to 2 / 0 / 1/step]
      0: OFF
      1: ON(No Decurl)
      2: ON

I have found that it helps a lot on machines that have the option in SP mode (not all machines have this settings).
      Press the GREEN button!!
