    Sample 1.jpgSample 2.jpgSample 3.jpg

I was called out for light copies on this copier, but what I found when I arrived can be seen in Sample 1 (On the original, the car and Mita logo are colored. The car is blue and the Mita logo is red). I noticed that one of the transfer terminals appeared to be bent further back. After reforming it the copies out good, but it was short lived. I replaced the drum and the copies did darken up, however, I am wondered what would cause the copies as seen in Sample 2. If you take a look at Sample 3, that is how the copies looked before I left. I feel there is still something wrong. I am thinking the problem lies in the LD Unit or scanner? Any help in determining the problem and/or if it lies in these units would be most appreciated. Thank you.

The problem with copying color originals on a B/W machine is that colors are converted to gray scale.
