    [Error Code] MP1350 - SC990

    Machine generates sc990 in mp1350 at power on, I am trying to use this machine after 25 days when I start this machine machine generates sc990 I try to power up without hdd, recheck bcu to ipu cable and connector but every time when I power on machine generates sc990

      If you have a copy of goose's guide, use it to look up your errors. If you do not have a copy, it is post to a thread in this forum, find it and downloaded it.

                  The best place to get a complete answer as to what these specifics mean is from a Ricoh engineer. As a field technician, all I can tell you is that the problem is in the engine portion of the firmware. Either corrupted firmware - reload or a bad NVRAM, IPU or controller.

                      sounds like it may not be able to do process control since it's been unused for 25 days or so. But slimslob is right you need a Ricoh technician to troubleshoot this and restore the machine to working order...........

                              I have already uploaded it once. I am not going to uploaded it again unless Ricoh makes a newer version available. Scroll through the Ricoh, Savin, Gestetner, Lanier forum and find the post Ricoh Goose's Guide. Goose Guide can be downloaded from post 73 of that thread.

                                  Finally I resolve SC-990
                                  First I changed bcu board from another machine for testing purpose only after replacing bcu board machine becomes ready I check some copies and check printing also.
                                  I wash bcu board which gives SC-990 by alcohol and after satisfaction that all the liquid becomes dry then I install it in the machine and its work, machine becomes ready without generating sc-990.
