    Dear All,
    As we all aware Ricoh DX3443 DCP has A3 feeding facility but Printing area is B4 ( B4 Drum)

    So what is the advantage that we can have of A3 feeding

    Reduced production costs. The DX3443 most likely uses the same feed table as the DX4450 and DX6650. If so, they only have to produce 1 size feed table. In fact, the width of the printable area of the drum is most likely the only difference.

      Hi slim,
      You may correct but DX3443 has special button called "A3 paper feed" Operation manual does not say anything about this key. What is the effect by mechanically or Operation system of this key is pressed.

        Most likely allows you to feed A3 paper without getting a trail edge jam indication. The printable area will still be B4 centered.

          @slimslob

          I checked with the DX4450 feed table and it is totally different comparing with DX3443, so your point should not valuable

            @slimslob

            I maked some copies after ON the "feed A3 paper" Button and OFF the "feed A3 paper" Button, but I did not observe any differences of the copy and no any jams detected
