    ARDF image adjustment problem

please advise how correct following image problem.

the image was shifted 4mm from left to right at Leading edge and 4mm from right to left at Trail edge.
the whole image does not look like straightforward. I checked the first and second scanner if thery parallel with the side frames, test pattern SP5902-(10) also all right. I changed Scanner SP1005 to 3mm. a short black line appears on the Trail edge of the image was gone.

I adjusted many times on SP6006-4 Trailing Erase, problem still exit,
Problem image is attached. Thank you suggestion

You did not specify the model of the MFP so we can just give you general item to check. First off, make sure that there is no skew from the platen glass.

Check that the scanner frame has not been distorted. With many models, the users leaning on the front edge of the control panel can push the left front corner down slightly over time. This will caused skewed copies, especially from the ARDF.

Check the springs for the idler rollers in the ARDF. Uneven pressure can cause the original to be pulled toward the edge with the most pressure.

In my opinion if you don't find paperclip straight away in adf, then start disassembling baby, the side on copy that is more bent is the one to have opstruction in the paper path, check if adf right base plate needs some tuning (push it back or forth on shoulder screw),guide paper manualy to see is something is in it's way, look if adf glass cower is bent, exposure glass ruler with white plate is allso important to sit in it's place and that adf is seated ower it properly.
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

        "USER TOOLS>COPIER/DOCUMENT SERVER>EDIT"
        Check whether the :
Front Margin:Left/Right is set to 0
Back Margin: Left/Right is set to 0
Front Margin:Top/Bottom is set to 0
Back Margin:TOP/Bottom is set to 0
THESE are the settings you should check PRIOR to playing with the SP adjustments otherwise you're digging yourself into a big arsed hole..!!!
Also if you HAVE checked those settings you neglected to mention this in your O.P.

          Re: ARDF image adjustment problem

No HD, only Duplex Margin can be adjusted into 0 from default 0.2mm, MP2500.
Regarding the physically adjustment(platen glass , first and second scanner) and Virtual adjustment(SP 6006). they are indeed confused a lot.
ADF frame or exposure glass alignment, it is hard to see by eye any obvious any angle other than 90degree... but I did find the platen glass is not setting tightly on the frame, I am wondering aloud why the factory put a thick rube stick at both rear( right side in front of machine, and OHP stick on both front side(left side in front of machine), when first time the glass pull out, it seems the glass is glued by OHP stick bar front side. SO I put a little glue on back front side. Improvement is a little bit made. it can not hundred percent be corrected.

Re SP mode, I did see the article ID9013 "When Scanning a black line appears on the Trail Edge of the Image" it says the glass and adf are not setup correctly in copier mode. I did don't know real purpose of the minus(-) value, I checked many SMC reports some all set default, running well. why. I just want to know if image rotation(shifting 4mm) has nothing to do with SP mode(6006) or has something to do with it.
          Thanks all suggestions.
