Search CTN forum for Skynetto's password reset tool.

I am not a moderator, but what you have entered here is, I believe, allowed. If a moderator has decided to remove those posts that actually give the method for entering factory mode, he may not find it. Also, if the SP 3400n is a printer, the method might be different from what I have seen for copiers. In that case he will have to find someone that knows the correct method and is willing to share it. Neo's suggestion always works as long as you can export NVRAM to an SD card.

          Re: reset password

I would just add to Slim's point (and I'm no moderator either)....
that while a large portion of us are here to exchange ideas, and help one another resolve problems, a possibly even larger portion are non-techs that are here to try and find a cheap fix, or at least just get some free advice and get out -never offering anything in exchange, so that can be dangerous information.
So having said that, a public forum is absolutely NO PLACE to post instructions for upper level SP's - which I know that you didn't actually do, but some topics are simply better left alone.
Yes, I know it's out there, but there doesn't need to be additional attention drawn to it -especially to those that probably have no business doing anything more than changing a toner cartridge.

Theres no SP mode on this machine, they only have 3 buttons. Try 'admin074' as the password via the console.
