    ADF not recognized after firmware update procedure.

    hello guys, i received this machine (mp C2551) to do maintenance, make full PM, test adf, paper feeds and all, and all firmwares are down to date, so I make the procedure to update firmwares ( like I have done a thousand times with same files), first System copy, after engine, test if all good, all others firmwares after. the thing is, after i update the ADF firmware, machine stops recognize ADF ( type 3030 - D541), put in another machine and not recognized to.i don't have any problem o error code while making update procedure.

    By the way, another ADF are recognized by this machine, so isn't BICU board.

      The DF3030 is a D366, not D541. Did you load the wrong firmware?

          My bad, machine has DF 3050 not 3030,service manual said df 3030 D366, but in tsrc firmware are D541, so I put firmware D541 on the DF 3050 (thats right for me).

              have you tried to download the firmware again and reinstall. I prefer downloading firmware from rfg-esource.

                  Might be the correct firmware but it still sounds like you may of nuked the DF PCB though.

                  Some PCBs have different components but there function is the same, but they normally have unique firmware loaded.
                  Hence if ever see a completely different firmware number when comparing the current and new firmware best to leave it.

                      DF is not recognized by machine, so i can't reload firmware, they don't appear in firmware options.
