    Downloads from my Ricoh site

No I am not giving any away.

Sometimes when I need something I have to download it as a zip file.

This example is paper feed unit pb3120 (d579)

When extracted I end up with this.

The service manual is 845kb the zip is 7 megabytes.

The service manual still opens if the other files are deleted.

What are the other files? I opened the .umz file in a hex editor and this is what a bit of it looks like.

They are the additional files required by either the 3D Parts Catalog Viewer -or- the newer Ricoh Parts Finder application.

The .umz file is for Ricoh's new 3D Parts Finder. Not played with it much yet but it looks better than Catalog Explorer. This is how they will be producing parts manuals from now on and is available to download from My-Ricoh

You only need the PDF file, delete everything else, the 3D catalog viewer is pants.
