    Scanning Tiff Multi Page Color

Can you scan in Tiff format /Multi Page/ Color on the MP C4503's. I know you can't in with the 4502's and older. (Or at least I have not figured out how)

Also are there any copiers out there that can scan in Tiff/Multipage in color?

Yes. Turn off compression for color scans...user tools > scanner features > send settings. Also works for the MP C5501 in our demo room so should work on MP C4502's

        New wrinkle
At what point does a Ricoh (MP C3000) turn a Tiff file into a PDF?
Set Copier up to scan to file Tiff (1 & 2 page test scans worked) when doing large file scans (77 pages) the file shows up as a PDF.

Multi Page Tiff / Auto Color / 200 dpi / Color and Grey Scale Compression is turned off.
77 page document. First 22 pages are yellow paper with bar code on them following pages are mostly color maybe about 80% have small amounts of color with just a few of the pages being pics.
File takes about 20 mins to get put into the folder. File size is around 600mb.

Multi page TIFF is under File name/ type on touch panel.

Even the 2238's could do it.

          Set Tiff as the default.

600MB scans are going to take a while unless they have a T1 line because it has to spool through the HDD then send.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
