Ricoh MP5500/MP6000 LCD Lamps.

We had a situation where we were going through LCDs because they went dark and the LCD actually still functioned. I recently found this website that sells the lamps to replace for 15 bucks. An advanced exchange through Hytec was around 200 bucks. Just remove the LCD from the bracket, remove the plug from the board and bend the 10 or so tabs back of the back cover of the LCD and wolla the burnt out lamp sits in a groove on the top. In about 10 minutes I replaced a lamp and was up and running. The cost savings is incredible and I actually ordered 5 lamps to fix any panel that goes dark.
