    [Misc] MP CW2200SP Colour Wide Format

    Hi Guys

    Just a quick question on this box.
    I have an opportunity to place one of these but am a bit concerned about the quality and reliability.
    Don't have a great deal of confidence in the gel technology.
    Is this justified?

      We've had a few in the field for about 18 months now and apart from updating the firmware and doing one recommended modification we have not had any service calls on them.

      So far they have been reliable, no print quality issues / cogged heads.
      • Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.

          As long as you follow the install to the "T" then all will be well.

          I was also concerned after the whole "geljet" printer gx series debacle we went through. Had very angry customers and a consumables account that looked worse for wear.

          No hassle so far with this one. I just wish they had not made the 2 frames "overlap" once installed. I cannot help but feel that it looks wrong. But that is just me.
