MPC2003 SC272

Hi

Have anybody had any problems with MPC2003 giving SC272-01 LD driver communication error : Bk

Its a brand new machine.

I can not really trouble by changing any parts because it is a new model and the first one we have ordered. Not a great first impression on us or the customer. Only did 50 prints.

Hi

Have had 2 of these so far. It turns out that the laser unit loom connecting the ld units to the machine are bum.

We removed them, flexed them a bit and re-installed them, and all was well afterward.

Pity that one cannot order the loom only as there is no part number.

they were also new (out of the box!)

Laser harness part numbers from point to point:

D149 5237
D149 5236
D149 5235

They all come off the IPU to the laser unit. These part numbers are from the MPC3003 manual, but I can't see them being much different.

I a refering to the section of the loom that connects the lid units to the sockets on the frame in the left side of the machine. They are visible when the side cover is taken off. Are any of these part numbers these? There are two looms in this regard.

In other words not on the rear of the machine but from the left side frame connectors to inside the laser unit.

P/n you need is d1475237 for the harness and also d1471855 for the laser unit.
