    Ricoh mpc3502 sc 460

    Have a machine throwing this code.went in after another tech and fitted a hvps board(the one behind the main power supply) but still have the same issue.i have ordered a iob board but the manual a also refers to a hvps board.is this the one that I've replaced or another board,the parts manual isn't very clear.BTW the power pack I replaced was az230182

    Perhaps it's just not a board issue but some issue with HV wiring/terminals/contacts/ bad transfer/pcu/unit

      Sorry forgot to add that the ITB & transfer roller have been replaced and the loom has been checked

        Never had this code specifically but it pertains to separation power pack. There is another HV Power supply in the upper right corner of machine if you are looking from the back. I think this one actually handles the transfer and separation bias. It might be that one that is actually causing the issue. Part #AZ32 0180

          I think this power supply is located within the transfer/separation unit, I'm sure that's the one that causes SC460

            we have had this issue a number of times and tried doing what the service manual says it turns out it relates to damp paper in the trays
