Maybe so, but secured links do Jack Squat to help the VAST majority of us that don't have access.
So Again, Thanks to ZED and others that contribute their time and efforts!
Understood, but now anyone can call Ricoh Tech Support (800.53 RICOH) cuz they no longer ask for tech ID #'s...
If your phone number does not show on their caller ID or the number is not in their database, in cases where you are calling from a customers phone, they are supposed to ask you for your your phone number or email and then have you verify the other information in the database. If you are not in their database they are supposed to transfer you to customer support.
Anybody want a modified version of Gooses Guide_2014 ?
Nothing new data-wise, I've just done a quick mod that allows you to select Ricoh,Gestetner,Lanier,Savin from a drop down list, and then have the Model numbers shown in the first spreadsheet column instead of the Product Numbers.
The cross reference conversion from product number to model number is now done automatic when you select from the drop down list.
Everything else is the same within the file.
The "GG October_xref.zip" file is 5078KB in size.

The same old Goose's guide 2014 with a touch of boot polish here and there....
I've also tidy up some of the duplicate rows and columns...
It could do with another text filter run over the entire data to merge duplicate models numbers and conscise all the Solution column under the one machine number. ..... next time....
The Xref version shown here is in *.xlsx format which is Excel 2010. It can be converted to Excel 2007.
Please state which version you want as there is a difference in compatibility of the file formats.
Latest modifed revision of the GG_October_2014_Xrefv11.xlsx. (No change in information)
Current GG_Xref update revision is Ver1.1 on the 25-09-15
Nothing has changed data wise .
Improvements to the original document include:
o Column collapse A..E and J..K
o Drop down menu for Xref of Product number to Model number
o Improved parts # search in "Column H" . Type in "Part #" in drop down filter and press enter.
o Improved "EDP #" search.
o Improved "Supplies" search.
o Improved spelling , general grammar. (though not perfect)
o Correction to formula #Xref! bug in revision 1.0
Sorry guys & gals from the otherside of the pond. The document was spell checked using the original English(USA) format...
Remember the above file format is Excel 2010 *.xlsx . This is not in old style 2007 *.xls format.
There are no macro's available in the above file format, so the document should arrive in original text format, and therefore virus free.
PM with me your email e-ddress if you want the latest revision(1.1) .....

There should be a revision update for GG in the next week or two.
[Bug Fix ]
1. Fixes some minor grammar corrections.
2. Fixes a round down search condition in Excel formula.
The round down condition might show up as invalid model number if Product Code is not found in Xref Sheet. This might happen if new Product numbers are entered into the Solutions Sheet and no Xref Sheet match found.
3. Improved formula programming and error checking.
This may slow the XREF sheet conversion due to additional time taken for error checking. There are 50300 rows (GG.xls) x 5 = 250k checks. Depending on your PC it may take 5-10 seconds for the screen to update when different Manufactures are selected from drop down list.
[Improvement]
Additional column for Series Code definitions. (Thanks to Blackcat4866).
I will automatically post the revision update to all those people in my GG private email list.
Would anybody like to see additional manufacturers in the XREF table ?
Would you like to see the XREF Sheet with the Models Ricoh, Gestetner, Nashuatec, Rex Rotary, Infotec and Lanier ?
Does any one have the latest XREF table that covers all the above models.
I do have an XREF table but I'm not sure it's complete or up to date for all manufactures.
