sc672 in ricoh mp9000

hi all

i have ricoh mp9000 its give me sc 672 when the machine start up ?

any one can help me ?

672 means the controller is stalled. Disconnect the hard disk and see if it will start. Also reseat all DIMM memory modules after cleaning the contacts.

Check that there is power on the controller. (check for flashing LEDs)

If that does not help, you may have a faulty controller.

If it has a fax option try reinstalling the fax board first.

You wont find a fax option on an MP 9000 !! As Polarbear said try disconnecting the HDD's but more than likely this is due to faulty memory DIMM
